The
game starts off on a train headed towards the town you are going to live
in. You put in your name and
talk to one of the passengers sitting near you.
He asks you a few questions and finds out that you do not have any
where to live yet, so he decides to hook you up.
Once you get to town you
talk to Tom Nook and he shows you four houses.
You pick your favorite house and Tom tells you to stop by his
store. He gives you a few
things to do so you can begin to pay off your debt.
When you are done with those small jobs you are pretty much off on
your own. You still have to
pay the rest of your debt off, but you can start to do thing that you want
to do. Here are some of
the things that you can do:
·
Fish
·
Bug
catching
·
Treasure
hunting
·
Errand
running
·
House
decorating
·
Socializing
·
Garden
planting
·
Letter
sending
·
Music
composing
If a friend has the game, he/she can bring over it over and
stick it in the second memory card slot.
You can get on the train in your town and then travel over to your
friend’s town.
If you have a GameBoy Advance and a link cable you can link
them together and do some pretty cool stuff. You can design patterns on your GBA and then transfer them to
the GameCube and use them on clothes and your wallpaper in your house.
You can also visit a secret island that is only available when the
GBA and the GameCube are linked. You
can go to the island and see the lonely islander that lives there.
If you save your game and do not turn your GBA off you can do some
cool stuff with the islander on the GBA.
Graphics:
This game was designed for the Nintendo 64, but was never released, so
they are a little "outdated". The cheerful graphics are smooth
and something different. The graphics really make you feel like you
are in a different world.
Control:
The
game is very
easy to control and easy to get used to. It should take about 15-20 min to
learn.
Sound:
I don't know how to put this into
words...lets just say I give it a 9/10.
Conclusion:
Very
cheerful graphics, a little outdated for the GameCube.
So much to do, you'll stay up a little later than usual. One
of the most creative titles on the Nintendo GameCube.
This is such an addictive game.
